Donor Policy

Our commitment to you:

NOK deeply values the contributions that our donors make to sustain our mission. To protect the privacy of our donors, we maintain the following policies.

  • NOK collects donor information and keeps a record of each donor’s giving history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by NOK’s Development department to make more accurate budget projections. In addition, we may collect your name, email address, and other contact information if you register for an event. We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, and payment information when you make a contribution, either on our website, over the phone, or by mail. We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information.
  • We will not send you mailings on behalf of other organizations. We will only share your personal information if you provide us with specific permission to do so.
  • When making a donation, donors may give NOK permission to list them in its publications either by name or as an anonymous donor.
  • Donors may request to not be solicited in the future.
  • Donors may request to not receive mailings such as our newsletters.
  • NOK reserves the right to change this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will note the date of the last update at the bottom of this policy. For changes to this policy that may be materially less restrictive on our use or disclosure of your personally identifiable information, we will obtain your consent before implementing the change by sending a notice to your primary email address and home address specified in our records, as well as by placing a prominent notice on our website. For further information, please contact development@nourishourkids.org.

  • Donna has brought and continues to bring, not only her experience as a mother, but her research and education as a Certified Nutritional Therapist to her workshops at Borders Books in Westbury, over the years. She shares concepts that have shaped her theories on raising healthy children with simple, basic nutrition that makes sense and is easy to live with in today's busy households. The recommended reading list reads like a bibliography of the best of whole food cooking. Audience participation and shared successes round out the evenings and keep people coming back.
